The Tilley Cove House is a new build all year round cottage sitting close to the Ocean overlooking the fishing village of Northwest Cove. This modern three bedroom home  offers a warm welcome and be shared with vacationers looking for a comfortable, charming retreat.

The cottage has three bedrooms; en suite master with king bed, second bedroom with Queen and third bedroom complete with two twins. Two full bathrooms (one en suite). Open plan Family room with dining area, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

Outside there’s a deck equipped with furniture and barbecue.  Outdoor shower.

Minimum stay is seven nights.

Refundable Damage Deposit C$500.00.

The Area

The Tilley Cove House is on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore, along the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route in the small fishing community of Northwest Cove . It’s a short drive to local amenities at the small seaside town of Hubbards and around 45 minutes to Halifax.

Situated high up overlooking Tilleys Cove you are guaranteed a panoramic ocean view. There are sandy beaches nearby, including Bayswater and Queensland, as well as sightseeing attractions including the historic seaside village of Chester, the quaint small town of Mahone Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg and the picturesque Peggy’s Cove.

The area is excellent for outdoor recreational activities including sailing, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, trail walking and cycling, as well as for coastal exploring, Farmers’ Markets, art and craft galleries, antiques shopping and sightseeing.

Driving Instructions from Halifax or Airport to the Tilley Cove House, 155 Tilley Point Road. Hwy 329. B0J 1T0. NS.

Leaving airport follow signs to Halifax (102)
Follow 102 to 103 West, towards Chester, Bridgewater, Yarmouth DO NOT FOLLOW SIGNS THAT SAY DARTMOUTH – BRIDGES – always STAY RIGHT – and follow 103 West.
You will drive for about half an hour heading west.
You will take Exit 6 signposted Hubbards & Queensland.

Drive down to the stop sign, and turn left.
You are now on Hwy 3 East.
Drive to Hubbards. Turn Right here; signposted 329 Lighthouse Route.

You are now on the Lighthouse Route with the ocean on your LEFT.

Carry on along this road.
Go past the areas of Fox Point, Mill Cove and eventually Birch Head.

Two minutes on from Birch Head look out for a dirt track LEFT turn onto Tilley Point Road. Turn here.

Carry on up the dirt track (Tilley Point Road. Pass Seacrest Lane on you RIGHT. Carry on down the hill. Road bends LEFT. Carry on. Go past the Whale Song house. Keep Left. Carry on up the dirt track until you see Tilley Point House in from of you. Park in the raised courtyard area.
