The Area
Marriott’s Cove is a picturesque seaside community on the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route, just minutes from the historic village of Chester.
The village amenities are just minutes away, including grocery store and pharmacy, as well as cafes, restaurants, artisan galleries and a seasonal Farmers’ Market.
Chester also has a Yacht Club, golf course, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, Playhouse Theatre and a ferry service to the Tancook islands in the waters of Mahone Bay.
The area around Chester and Marriott’s Cove is ideal for outdoor recreational pursuits including sailing, canoeing and kayaking, trail walking and cycling, as well as coastal exploring and sightseeing. There are also sandy beaches nearby.
Halifax is approximately 50 minutes’ drive. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Lunenburg, the small town of Mahone Bay and picturesque Peggy’s Cove are also within driving distance.

If you are coming off the 103, please take Exit 8 to Chester
Follow the road down to the junction. You will reach a STOP sign. Turn RIGHT at the junction (you will see a large garden nursery on the right). This is Robinsons Corner.
You are now on Route. 3
Continue to follow Route 3.You will see a RIGHT HAND BEND in the road. Keep going.
Go past signpost of right for Marriotts Cove.
You will eventually see Calvins TV shop on your left. Keep going.
After 500 yards, you will see the house number 4735 on LEFT.
Turn LEFT into the shared driveway.
Drive slowly up the driveway passing a red house access on your right. Keep going.
Driveway forks, take RIGHT HAND FORK. This will lead you to the house and open courtyard.
