Sailboat Cottage is at the Anchorage at Deep Cove and is situated just a stone’s throw from the ocean’s edge. Deep Cove is a tranquil, protected sailor’s inlet that is an excellent location for kayaking, canoeing, sailing or fishing, with a dock and nearby boat launch. It’s also a great location for bird watching, hiking, trail walking and cycling, as well as coastal exploring.
This home has been designed with carefree and relaxed seaside living in mind, from seeing the early morning sun sparkling on the waters of the cove, to watching a magnificent, colourful sunset reveal a twinkling starlit night.

Rates and Pricing
Low Season April, June and October; $1500.00 CD per seven night stay.
High Season July, August and September $1750.00 CD per seven night stay.
Minimum stay five nights.
Pets welcome. Additional pet fee of $120.00 CD per seven night stay.
Cleaning fee of $180.00 CD additional.
Refundable Damage Deposit $300.00 CD.

The Area
Deep Cove is on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore, along the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route. It’s a short drive from the village of Chester and its shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Yacht Club and Playhouse Theatre. Halifax is approximately 45 minutes’ drive.
There are sandy beaches nearby, including Bayswater and Queensland, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Town Lunenburg and the picturesque Peggy’s Cove.
In nearby Chester there’s an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a golf course.

Take Hwy 103 West if coming from Halifax, and Hwy 102 to Hwy. 103 if coming in from Airport or from the West.
Hwy 103 West to Exit 7 Chester, Blandford.
Drive down to the stop sign, and turn left.
Drive to first road on right which is the 329 (Lighthouse Rte.) You will see a sign that says Blandford, Hubbards.
Turn right onto 329 (Lighthouse Rte.). There will be signage that says Deep Cove, Blandford.
It is about 9 kms to Deep Cove. You will see Deep Cove on your right. Turn right onto dirt road which is Deep Cove Road.
You will see the water on the right and the vacation homes at the Anchorage will be on the left on the hill. Turn left onto Safe Harbour Close across from the wharf (this is paved) and turn right on to Crow’s Nest Pass. Just keep to your right, where the road does a Y. Sailboat Cottage is on the right facing the water. It is the middle cottage on the right. The number on the cottage is #6 and the address is 6 Safe Harbour Close. Postal B0J 1T0.
