The Area

Marriott’s Cove is a picturesque seaside community on the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route, just minutes from the historic village of Chester.

The village amenities are just minutes away, including grocery store and pharmacy, as well as cafes, restaurants, artisan galleries and a seasonal Farmers’ Market.

Chester also has a Yacht Club, golf course, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, Playhouse Theatre and a ferry service to the Tancook islands in the waters of Mahone Bay.

The area around Chester and Marriott’s Cove is ideal for outdoor recreational pursuits including sailing, canoeing and kayaking, trail walking and cycling, as well as coastal exploring and sightseeing. There are also sandy beaches nearby.

Halifax is approximately 50 minutes’ drive. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Lunenburg, the small town of Mahone Bay and picturesque Peggy’s Cove are also within driving distance.

If you are coming off the 103, please take Exit 8 to Chester.Follow the road down to the junction. You will reach a STOP sign. Turn RIGHT at the junction (you will see a large gardennursery on the right).

You are now on Route. 3

Follow Route 3 about 1 Kilometer, you will arrive at a ROUNDABOUT. Take first exit RIGHTW signposted Marriott’s Cove. Stay to the LEFT on to Marriott’s Cove Road East.

The water is on your RIGHT

Keep going about 1KM until you reach a small turning on your LEFT to Half Moon Cove Road. It is a steep concrete road leading to a dirt road.

Stay on the dirt road until toy reach a RIGHT HAND bend. Follow the road. The house (120) driveway is on your RIGHT.
