Halifax is approximately 45 minutes’ drive.

The main highway network is within easy reach, giving convenient access to other towns nearby including Bridgewater, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.

Located on Nova scotia’s beautiful South Shore, along the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route, Haddon Hill is a convenient location for the village of Chester and its shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Yacht Club and Playhouse Theatre. Other amenities include a grocery store, pharmacy, home hardware store and in-season Farmers’ Market.

The area is excellent for outdoor recreational activities including sailing, fishing, trail walking and cycling, as well as coastal exploring and sightseeing. Sandy beaches are within driving distance and there’s also swimming, tennis courts and a golf course nearby.
